This issue could decide Perry's fate in his run for nomination for the republican ticket, not to mention the presidency. But, I wonder how many clearly do not understand the issue as Texans see it. Texas is almost a country unto themselves and as such, if it becomes so heavenly populated with uneducated illegals, the state, in the future could be in serious trouble in subsidizing them anyway. …

The Republican debates last night showed me nothing new. It seems to be the same subject, the economy being the most popular. What the candidates should be telling us is what we need to hear, not what they think we should hear to vote for them. Please, no more change, we've had enough of that to last, now, a generation. Is there validity to what Professor Warren states? "There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own" How should this be taken from a Harvard Law Professor? Or is this the standard thinking in academia circles?
